Problem
Freeborn & Peters is a large multi-disciplinary law firm based in Chicago. Due to the variety of services they provide they were experiencing difficulty in knowing how to best communicate their expertise via their web site. The aging website was challenged with outdated design and a presentation that was not aligned with their marketplace. The site was difficult to navigate, had slow load times and the content was dated.
Solutions
Freeborn & Peters engaged Duo to overhaul the look and feel of the web site and develop a content management system that allows complete control over attorney biographies, representative cases, practice area descriptions and firm news. Relevant content can now be retrieved through multiple navigation paths and is mostly one click away from any given page. Equipped with a database and backend administration, the site can be easily updated to insure relevant current information while keeping maintenance costs low.
Duo also worked with Freeborn & Peters to develop an offsite, web-based Emergency Employee Website (EEW) whereby, in the event the main IT systems become unavailable due to an emergency, employees have a means by which to report in and access important firm information.
