Bracewell & Giuliani approached Duo to incorporate sophisticated marketing techniques and Internet usability concepts into their website. Their top-level requirements included updating the overall look and feel of the site to reflect the firm’s revitalized image and brand; creating a content-rich site that demonstrates industry and practice expertise; and overhauling the information architecture to create a more user-friendly experience. Bracewell also wanted to replace an outdated content management system that failed to provide its staff the capability and flexibility they desired.

Duo partnered with Bracewell and worked closely with their existing design firm to create an information architecture and user experience that places emphasis on the firm’s professionalism, expertise and brand. We deployed a robust, asset-based content management system that Bracewell staff members can use to easily update site content without technical involvement, cost or delay. They have gained efficiency, productivity and responsiveness by being able to produce on demand marketing materials, such as brochure-ready versions of attorney biographies and practice descriptions.

The redesigned website enables visitors having varying interests to rapidly gain access to the content they seek due to improved navigation and content organization and to directly interact with the firm through event and newsletter registration and V-card and iCalendar downloads. The integration of the website database with other firm data and information sources, such as the firm’s CRM and third-party Job Center, ensures that information is both consistent and current. Newly implemented RSS feeds, permit visitors to subscribe to relevant content thereby providing them the information they seek and permitting the firm’s content and presence to achieve a top-of-mind status.
